In 1997, Greenland became the first Garment Factory in Bangladesh to pruchase Mayer and Cie. Knitting machines. At that time, many in the Industry labeled the move as expensive and unnecessary. However, our knitting unit has proven to be the backbone of Greenland's ascent as we progressed from a small Cutting Manufacturing unit into a world-class Composite Garment Factory. All our machines including the flat collar machines are fitted with Lycra drive.
